Bear Season 2009


Here are some pics of our Bear Season 2009.  We spent the hunting season with Freddie and Edward in Strang Hollow again.  Curly stopped by each day to visit and on Saturday, Jo came to hang out. We made 20lbs of wings and drank lots of beer! On our way home, we stopped to pick up our bobcat at the taxidermist.

Our weather was great, not great for hunting bear, but nice to be outside.  Dave and Freddie set some coyote traps, but didn't connect.  It's all about the friendship, food (of course) and fun.  Thanks guys for inviting us and helping make another year of fantastic memories!  Also, thanks for letting us cook!!!


NTA 2009


Even though we are a little late in sharing some pictures, here are some from the National Trappers Association Convention in Lima Ohio!
 

PTA 2009


Here are a few pictures from the PTA Rendezvous in Ebensburg PA on June 18th through the 21st. We had a great time and met some real nice people. Anybody heading to the NTA in Lima OH here is the link. We are thinking about going but alot depends on work.
